His utter amazement at his real life education is a laugh a minute, since he is totally ignorant of virtually everything! About the Author

MICHAEL J. HOLOSKO, Ph.D., M.S.W., is a professor of Social Work at the University of Windsor and adjunct instructor at Norfolk State University. He has taught in schools of: social work (primarily), nursing, public administration, and applied social science in Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. For the past 26 years, he has been a consultant to a variety of large and small health and human service organizations in the areas of: program evaluation, outcomes, organizational development, communication, leadership, visioning, organizational alignment, and stress management. He has published numerous monographs, chapters, articles, and texts in the areas of evaluation, health care, gerontology, social policy, music intervention, and spirituality. He served on the editorial boards of: Research on Social Work Practice; Journal of Health and Social Policy; Stress, Trauma and Crisis; Journal of Human Behavior and Social Environment; the Hong Kong Journal of Social Work; Journal of Social Service Research and the Journal of Evidence Based Social Work Practice. He has served on numerous boards of directors for a variety of local, provincial, federal, and international human service agencies, including Health and Welfare Canada's Research Advisory Committee. Over the past few years he has taken his concerns for advocacy and social justice to the airwaves, where he is billed as "The Community Doctor" on AM800 CKLW and The New WI out of Windsor, Ontario Canada. This book is difficult to understand and is filled with discrepancies. I only purchased this book because my professor required we use it to write our papers for the course. Unless your professor absolutely requires it, I would not recommend purchasing this book. The book’s guidelines for research papers is solely opinion based, with little to no outside resources. It was not worth my money.

Purchased for my research methods course for my MSW. He covers about 90% of the areas I will need to critique for an assignment. I suggest buying because it's useful for other courses as well.

Great book - used it my first year for my doctorate. Really helps to refer back to as its simple and clear.

Renting is so much easier, convenient and easy.

The authors have done a superlative job of researching this volume. They have talked to those who fought in the war, have poured over available documents in all the nations involved, and were able to piece together a very interesting picture of what occurred nearly fifty years ago. Any and all conclusions drawn are based on the facts they were able to obtain and where the information is not clear, it is presented as such. It was very much a debacle for Israel's neighbors and we are given a look at what was and was not done during those days. It helped to form the opinion of Arab nations for decades and also encouraged the nations involved to be better prepared. Training and equipment was upgraded to the extent that the next conflict was not so one-sided. The volume also busts a few myths and enlightens. It is not a quick read, but it is one that I highly recommend to those interested in the topic and with open minds. There are a lot of great photos, charts and maps included as well as some color profiles that will be very useful to modelers and enthusiasts alike. (Modeling Madness)

About the Author
Tom Cooper is an Austrian aerial warfare analyst and historian. Following a career in worldwide transportation business during which he established a network of contacts in the Middle East and Africa he moved into narrow-focus analysis and writing on small, little-known air forces and conflicts (about which he has collected extensive archives). That resulted in specialisation in such Middle Eastern air forces as those of Egypt, Iran, Iraq and Syria - plus various African and Asian air forces. As well as writing and co-writing 25 other books and more than 400 articles, he has co-written an in-depth analysis of major Arab air forces at war with Israel during the period 1955-73 - resulting in the six-volume book series Arab MiGs.

Patricia Salti - from Great Britain - is a widow of Jordanian national hero and Hawker Hunter pilot 1st Lt Muwaffaq Salti, who was killed in an air combat with Israeli interceptors in November 1966. Over the last 40 years, she has developed into a leading historian of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. Her exclusive contacts and insights enabled her to write a number of official publications and also to cooperate in the project that resulted in the Arab MiGs book series.
